Being Positive About England

St. Edmund, England's first Patron Saint.

King Edmund of the East Angles after his death was cannonised in 869AD and became St. Edmund, England's 1st Patron Saint. He was replaced some 481 years later in 1350 by St. George.

The story of St. Edmund can be found here:

There is currently a campaign to re-introduce St. Edmund as England's Patron Saint taking back the position he once held from St. George. Wether this is successful or not I support the campaign and would encourage anyone curious or interested in joining the campaign to help out. The websight for the campaign is here:

I had started a campaign of my own concerning the choice of flag for England based on the idea that it wasn't unique to England. I will dicontinue that in favour of this campaign for St. Edmund. I will now promote several versions of England's flags, one version for St. George only. Another version for St. Edmund only. The third and final version for a combination of both St. George and St. Edmund together. You must then decide two things.

1. Wether to re-instate St. Edmund as Englands patron saint, and in what way.

2. Which flag and other insignia would you want to not only represent your choice, but which ones will also represent England on the international stage.

The rest of this website will reflect both campaigns. As well as the primary campaign of mine to promote positive atitudes and ideas for England and the English people.
